Ammoudi Beach is located in the area of Trachilas, 29 km east of Ierapetra, 4km from Makrigialos village, near Kapsas Monastery. A really beautiful windless beach is formed here with fine golden sand and shallow calm waters, while there is no natural shade from trees or rocks. The beach is also known as the Cave of the Dragon, from the tavern of the same name located in the north.

It is located next to the road that connects Makrigialos with Goudoura. To locate it, you have to stop under the tavern “Cave of the Dragon”.
